We have two guests for this week’s #NYTReadalong. We’re continuing our discussion on the reopening of Broadway with Nancy Ringham Smith and Chris Smith. Nancy is a Broadway actor/singer, director and teacher. Her Broadway credits include Eliza Doolittle in “My Fair Lady” opposite Rex Harrison and Betty Blake in “Will Rogers Follies” opposite Mac Davis. Chris is a Broadway production and technical manager. His credits include “Elton John and Tim Rice’s "Aida,” “Evita,” “Chaplin,” “Elf,” “Kinky Boots,” “West Side Story” and “Chicago.”
In addition to talking about post-pandemic theater, we’ll also talk about their careers and how they have managed during the pandemic. If we’re lucky, Chris will share some stories about the early days of their relationship - if Nancy doesn’t kick him under the table(!)
