Nobel Peace Conference and Festival

Three Nobel Peace Prize winners will headline the event, including Ales Bialiatski (2022), Maria Ressa (Nobel Peace Prize (2021) and Juan Manuel Santos (2016), joined by Gen Z leaders talking about what democracy needs to survive.

With the Peace Prize 2025 to Maria Corina Machado as a backdrop, they will ask:

  • What are the biggest threats to democracy globally?

  • What lessons can be learned from democracy movements around the world?

  • How may the international community help democracy movements?

This is the third year Sree will be co-hosting the event. I will be helping the Nobel Peace Center team with social media. Click here for details.

Sree’s latest newsletter, “If if if Democrats Work Together, They Will Win” focuses on the intraparty struggles between progressives and centrists. He writes in part, “The last thing we should see anywhere is a group of centrist Democrats attacking their caucus mates. They should be pouring money into their campaigns and allying with them whenever possible.”
