We are proud to partner with Stroke Onward and the Forum for Medical Ethics Society, which publishes the Indian Journal of Medical Ethics, to bring you this very important virtual discussion on the challenges of recovery after a stroke.
When a stroke takes away the abilities that define us — our work, our passions, the ways we connect with the people we love — the hardest part of recovery is often not physical.
It is the struggle to answer the question: who am I now? This event will bring together the stories of survivors, family members, advocates and medical professionals to illuminate the emotional and psychological dimensions of recovery that medical care too often overlooks.
You can watch it live on Friday, August 7 at 11am EDT / 8am PDT / 9:30pm IST. (If you miss the live show, you can watch the replay on this link.)
