Happy New Year. Our first show of 2024 will feature Doug Levy, a Peabody-award winning former USA Today medical reporter and author of two books, The Communications Handbook for Coronavirus and The Communications Golden Hour®: The Essential Guide to Public Information When Every Minute Counts. The 2nd edition of The Communications Golden Hour was just released last fall. We’ll be talking about the challenges of health communications, particularly during Covid. Neil Parekh will be the guest host.

We will be live at 8:30am ET on Sunday morning on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram and right here on our Digimentors website. If you miss the live show, you can always watch it later, on demand.

About Doug:

Doug led communications at two of the nation's top medical centers and has either covered or guided communications around some of the biggest health stories of the past three decades, including hands-on roles in managing responses to H1N1 and Ebola. He is an expert on emergency communications.

Doug has spent more than 20 years at the intersection of technology, science, health, policy, and ethics and now is a consultant to corporations, academic institutions, and other organizations on crisis communications and reputation management. As a freelance journalist, Doug writes mostly about health, science, and technology.
