Our guest for Sree’s Sunday #NYTReadalong is A.J. Bauer, an assistant professor of journalism at University of Alabama.

One of the articles we'll be talking about is "Republicans Who Do Not Regularly Watch Fox Are Less Likely to Back Trump." It may be an obvious statement, but it's always helpful when there's data to back it up.

His area of focus is conservative news and right-wing media. He is the author of “News on the Right: Studying Conservative News Cultures” (2019) and more recently, has written articles about disinformation and how conservatives have used humor in their messaging.

We’ll also talk about how A.J. uses social media (he’s still active on Twitter and is expanding to Bluesky.)

Neil Parekh will be the guest host.

We will be live at 8:30am ET / 12:30pm GMT / 6pm IST on Sunday morning on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram and our Digimentors website. If you miss the live show, you can always watch it later, on demand.
